The legend’s promise not to be paid as president is being kept, and as a result, wages are to be diverted to players’ well-being.

Eto’o has advocated for high wages for players in the Cameroonian women’s football league dubbed the Guinness Super League which began last saturday the 15th of April 2020, as part of his policies to ensure players are compensated fairly for their efforts.

The Cameroon football federation president has also implemented policies that ensure male footballers of the MTN Elite One and Two(first and second divisions), are better paid and lodged in three or four star hotels on each of their outings, thus boosting their morale and elevating the competition to high global standards.

Samuel Eto’o, the four-time African player of the year, has received high praise ever since taking over as President of the Cameroonian Football Federation.
