Unidentified armed men on Tuesday kidnapped 30-year-old, Miss Stephanie Ejiofor at Isheagu Community of Aniocha South local government area of Delta State.
Daily Independent gathered that the three-man gang were said to have alighted from their unmarked dark coloured car at the residence of the victim at Isheagu quarters around 12 noon, opened fire in the air and bundled her into their waiting vehicle and zoomed off.
It was also gathered that the agrarian community had since been thrown into palpable fear due to the incident.
An eyewitness, a neighbor to the victim who simply identified herself as Mama Peace, said the hoodlums forced their way into her living room after they peeped through her window to ascertain that she was at home.
According to her,” The three men with guns pulled down her door with their feet and pushed her into their car.”
She lamented that the victim has been kidnapped on two occasions in three years.
“In December 2019, she was abducted at her residence in Ukpilla, Edo state in similar circumstance. She was released after five days after in their den. Her family parted with undisclosed amount of money”, he said.
She narrated how her late father, Pa Martins Ejiofor, was a victim of suspected Fulani herdsmen attack in 2017, which resulted in his untimely death.
