The Nigeria High Commission in Cameroon and Naija Diaspora Group has agreed to embark on a win-win partnership for the interest of Nigerians living in Cameroon and Nigeria. This was disclosed when the Chief Executive Officer of the ND Group, Ismaila Adegbola, paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency, the Deputy High Commissioner of Nigeria to Cameroon, Lami Sauda Remawa-Ahmed, in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The partnership is based on ND media promoting and projecting good images of Nigerian businesses, investors and its culture amongst the Nigerian citizens in Cameroon and other parts of the world and also to propagate the cordial relationship between Cameroon and Nigeria through various activities.
Speaking during the visit, she commended the ND Group management for being thoughtful in the right direction in promoting the Nigeria culture and business orientation outside the country.
She said: “I am deeply humbled by this gesture and I am looking forward to an impactful and fulfilling partnership. I have looked forward to this meeting because I find patriotism and quality in what you do to promote Nigeria.
Adegbola, in his remark, said: “I was highly honored to be received by Her Excellency the Deputy High Commissioner of Nigeria to Cameroon. After a very cordial discussion, I found her to be an epitome of humility and a diplomat par excellence. In fact, I was deeply touched by her kind words of encouragement.
“It is our great pleasure to work in partnership with the Nigeria High Commission; we are also having a good working collaboration with the Consulate General of Nigeria in Douala and Buea as well as Nigerian owned companies like Dangote Cement Cameroon, UBA Cameroon, MRS Corlay Cameroon, UCB, the Port Authority of Douala.”
