As Rivers State continues to position itself as a top destination for investment and economic development, key Stakeholders are reaffirming their commitment to fostering business-friendly policies and partnerships.
In a recent engagement with the Hon. Commissioner for Information & Communications, Mr. Joe Johnson, I had the opportunity to discuss AfrijetflyGabon’s operations in Port Harcourt and explore broader opportunities for business collaboration in the State.
The Hon. Commissioner expressed enthusiasm about AfrijetflyGabon’s presence in Rivers State, acknowledging the extensive publicity surrounding the airline’s expansion.
He assured of the government’s full support in ensuring seamless operations, emphasizing that under the leadership of Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara, Rivers State remains committed to providing the necessary infrastructure for sustainable business growth and Tourism development.
A major highlight of the interface with the Rivers State Spokesman was the upcoming AfrijetflyGabon inaugural event.
The Commissioner assured us that the Governor would be disposed to such investment opportunities that would open up the State to the International traffic; reinforcing the State Government’s dedication towards fostering strategic business partnerships and synergies.
Another vital issue that was discussed with the Commissioner, was the special edition coverage by Naija Diaspora Magazine, which will spotlight AfrijetflyGabon, Port Harcourt Airport, Rivers State, and Gabon.
The Honourable Commissioner warmly welcomed the initiative and confirmed his participation, recognizing the importance of promoting the state’s investment potential to the global audience.
Beyond aviation, the discussions extended to business summits and networking events that can drive economic advancement in Rivers State.
The Honourable Commissioner affirmed that the Government would always welcome such initiatives, recognizing their role in attracting investors, strengthening trade, and empowering local businesses.
This aligns with the State’s broader vision of fostering sustainable development through strategic collaborations.
In continuation of my familiarization meetings with key Stakeholders, I will be engaging with the Chairman of the Rivers State Small and Medium Enterprises Agency, Engr. Dabo Jack and the President of the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry Mines (PHCCIMA).
Also, discussions will focus on business growth strategies, Investment facilitation, and opportunities for local Entrepreneurs to expand their networks.
With Rivers State demonstrating a strong commitment to business-friendly policies, infrastructure development, and international partnerships, the future looks promising for investors and entrepreneurs. Naija Diaspora Magazine remains dedicated to amplifying these opportunities, ensuring that Rivers State continues to attract global attention as a thriving business hub.
