The ancient and revered Warri Kingdom witnessed a moment of profound historical and cultural significance as His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, the Olu of Warri, conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title of Utukpa-Oritse of Warri Kingdom upon Her Excellency, Oluremi Tinubu CON, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The investiture ceremony was more than a royal honor—it was an emotional and symbolic homecoming. Senator Oluremi Tinubu proudly traces her maternal roots to the Itsekiri people, making her one of the most distinguished daughters of Warri Kingdom.
